Basic alumino silicate glass products should meet the requirements as described in the standard EN 15681-2, which is a harmonized standard under the Construction Products Regulation (EU) 305/2011.

Scope: This European Standard covers the assessment and verification of constancy of performance and the factory production control of basic alumino silicate glass products for use in buildings.

Basic alumino silicate glass products are made in accordance with EN 15681-1.

NOTE: For glass products with electrical wiring or connections for, e.g. alarm or heating purposes, other directives, e.g. Low Voltage Directive, may apply.
