Basic soda lime silicate glass products should meet the requirements as described in the standard EN 572-9, which is a harmonized standard under the Construction Products Regulation (EU) 305/2011.

Scope: This document covers the evaluation of conformity and the factory production control of basic soda lime silicate glass products for use in buildings.

Note: For glass products with electrical wiring or connections for, e.g. alarm or heating purposes, other directives, e.g. Low Voltage Directive, may apply.
